DWL-G650M WPA2 DRIVER

Dear Comcast, I won't use your email service DWL-G and if so how does this procedure change? I have it running now for a few days with WPA2 and no complaints. A link to drivers that will work with your DWL-G is linked in this very topic, however it is generally advisable not to upgrade unless there is a reason to do so. I guess it is just updated drivers we need. I don't know if the Atheros 4.

I now understand the driver will be available in a month's time. Will post with the results.

What wireless security does the DWL‑G650 offer?

I may need a different model like the DWL-G It may be that the G was the wrong choice. I got the C1, anyone has success with non-C3 hardware?

D-Link warns to do this through a wired connection, i've always done it through wireless and never had a problem. I'm in the middle of that right now. I have it running now for a few days with WPA2 and no complaints. That is, is it convenient to turn off the encryption? Dpa2 run the setup for the Atheros drivers. Must ask a MAC guru since I'm not!

To get around this problem you will need to use the Atheros drivers, which I've been running for 24 hours now without any problems. I guess it is just updated drivers we need. Carl, OK - that makes sense.

The biggest problem when I was doing it was just finding all the drivers that needed to be installed.

Will this procedure works for DI Rev. I'm assuming it won't work with the encryption turned on, on the laptop, while at some vanilla wireless LAN.

Does anyone know what happens if a user takes the laptop to another, less secure site? I double checked my firmware on th di and it was still at 2. Also, some countries consider loading this firmware a void of your warranty, so beware.
